Daniel Alfredo, S.H., M.H., CLA., CLI., AIIArb. has been practicing law for more than 20 years. His practices focus on litigation, including commercial, criminal and restructuring proceedings in which he has received several recognitions and awards for his expertise.
He received a bachelor degree in law and master degree in business law from Universitas Indonesia. Apart from being advocate and Founding Partner of Legisperitus Lawyers, he currently holds position as the Executive Chairman of the Asosiasi Kurator & Pengurus Indonesia (AKPI/ Indonesian Receivers & Administrators Association), Head of Sub Division of Asosiasi Advokat Indonesia MB (AAI MB/ Indonesian Advocates Association), as well as licensed mediator for the court and liquidator.
Provides legal services in the fields of arbitration, commercial and criminal litigation, bankruptcy, due diligence, and legal counseling. Served as lead counsel in numerous arbitration, commercial and criminal litigation cases on behalf of several prominent Indonesia companies including United Tractors Group, Garuda Indonesia, PT Mora Telematika Indonesia, Adiguna Group and PT ANZ Bank.
Representing Lippo Group representative on judicial review at Indonesia Supreme Court. Also involved in restructuring proceedings valued with more than IDR 1 Billion each, whether as appointed receiver or debitor’s counsel, amongst others on the matter of PT Sariwangi Agricultural Estate Agency, PT Dwi Aneka Jaya Kemasindo, PT Bima Multifinance, Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Indosurya.
Handled commercial litigation cases, particularly bankruptcy and arbitration representing Morgan Stanley Capital Group, Nokia Siemens Network, and Lehman Associate Brothers Asia Holdings
Involved in the landmark case of former Governor of Aceh Abdullah Puteh, which was the first corruption case being investigated by Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission), as well as former East Timor Governor Jose Abillio Soares, the first case being tried by ad-hoc human rights court.
