As an associate at Legisperitus Lawyers, I perform work delegated to me by partners of the firm in undertaking assignments from the clients; from research for the purpose of legal memorandum, review documents in relation to due diligence report, business contracts review for the purpose of joint venture, merger and acquisition, prepare summons, motions, responses, list evidences etc in civil court, arbitration and bankruptcy proceedings. Some highlights of my work, among others are:

• representing the leading and largest distributor of heavy equipment in Indonesia in an arbitrational claim regarding a breach of contract due to an overdue payment in the amount of Rp.7.040.100.000,00. All claims brought before the panel of arbitrators were fully granted;
• providing legal advice for an established marine lubricant supplier to the global shipping industry on the application and requirement for relevant permits, licenses and certifications, scope of rights, intellectual property protection, and risk mitigation;
• assisting a Holland based expert in the medical accessory industry in the restructuring of its Indonesian subsidiary and advising in the area of general corporate law and employment law;
• conducting debt restructuring on behalf of PT Menara Perkasa Margahayuland in a Temporary Suspension of Debt Payment (PKPU-S) involving 234 creditors and Rp.739.203.061.054,45 in debt. A settlement was reached within 45 days of the suspension;
• representing a Chinese state-owned corporation for a transaction worth US$ 198,900,000. The work included preparing joint venture agreement, share purchase agreement, waivers, and legal opinions on the acquisition procedure, permits, licenses, and risks mitigation specific to the mineral mining industry.
• representing a Finnish corporation providing manufacture and services in the marine and energy industry in an arbitration claim regarding a breach of contract based on an EPC contract. The claim was partially granted.
• representing a global network solution provider in tender negotiations with an Indonesian state-owned telecommunication service provider. The client secured a contract.
