Marini started as an associate at one of the largest and most prominent litigation firms in Indonesia. Working at this firm has given her ample opportunity to work on high profile litigation cases. During this time, she was involved in writing and editing some of published law books. Prior to Legisperitus she was a partner at Alfredo Associates, a firm she co-founded with Daniel Alfredo in 2008. In Alfredo Associates, Marini established a close network with lawyers and law firms across the globe, especially within Asia Pacific region through the Advoc association, an international network of independent law firms with members in 62 countries. Some of her clients are state enterprise Pupuk Iskandar Muda, Institut Français Indonesie, Renoir Consulting Group, Black Canyon Coffee Indonesia, Laboratorios HIPRA S.A, Simpatindo and Chinese SOE, China Nonferrous. Throughout her career as a lawyer, Marini has advised many corporations, domestic and international in their commercial transactions, among others are a joint venture between a government institution and a multinational company on drugs rehabilitation facility, LNG sale and purchase, mining acquisition in Sumatera, a bankruptcy litigation involving a production sharing contractor and a retail distribution agreement of telecommunication system.
Marini obtained her law degree from UNIKA Atmajaya Jakarta, a master degree in business law from Universitas Indonesia and a master degree in international business law from Boston University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Indonesia and a member of Peradi (Indonesian Bar Association) and IKAPI (Indonesian Receiver and Administrator for Bankruptcy and Insolvency).
